Mutual Recognition Policy

Under the new endorsed National Package for Security PRS3 - Asset Training Package, it is our obligation to recognise certification from other states within Australia. Proof of mutual recognition must be sighted. Refer to the code of practice which outlines the recognition of prior learning skills or clarify with administration.

Educational Standards

GGSTI will adopt policies and management practices which maintain high professional standards in the marketing and delivery of vocctional education and training services and which will safeguard the interests and welfare of trainees. We shall maintain a learning environment that is condusive to the success of trainees. We have the capacity to deliver the nominated course(s) and provide adequate facilities and use appropriate methods and materials.

Participants Information

Prior to commencement, GGSTI will provide accurate and relevant up to date information to trainees. This will include:

  • The course pre-amble / session outline
  • The code of practice / handbook
  • Workplace Health & Safety requirements pertaining to the training facility
  • Fire Evacuation Policy
  • Admissions procedures and criteria
  • For security reasons ID tags will be provided
  • Signing of the daily register for all who visit the premises
  • Total costs / fees to trainees
  • The training package including all materials and manual
  • RPL applications and policies for this re-evaluation

Completion Policies

Upon satisfactory assessment the applicant will receive their formal Certificates and / or Statement of Attainment upon successful completion. Participants will receive results within 3 working days. For any re-assessments, the participant will be notified within 1 working day.
